What could be better on this page? A few words are enough.

Build a network of organisations that work together, without one of them owning the whole.

For an organisation that works with other organisations on shared cases, and wants that to grow from one partner into a network. We start with one case and one partner, and build what comes after together. For the first year our consultancy advice is free.

Who this is for

This programme fits if your organisation:

  • owns cases in which other organisations carry a responsibility, like a municipality that hands structural reviews to engineering firms, or a care provider working with partners in a chain;
  • works with several of them, or wants to;
  • wants agreements the software enforces, instead of another integration for every new relationship;
  • wants to lead such a network, without owning it.

Looking to improve the work inside your own organisation? Then early access is the place to start.

What you build with us

  1. One partnership. One case, and one partner that holds a case role in it, with an agreement both platforms confirm: what the role delivers, when, and what it may see in each phase.
  2. Try it first. Both organisations design the collaboration on the development environment and walk through test cases. Production only runs what both sides have accepted.
  3. A network. The next partner takes on the same role. That is an agreement both sides confirm, not a new integration project.
  4. A commons, if the participants want one. The organisations maintain the shared specifications of their collaboration together. This is the part we want to develop with the first participants.

How the boundary between two organisations works is told in Working across organisations; how a network grows, in An ecosystem that grows with you.

What runs today, and what we build together

Runs today

  • A case role held by another organisation, with an agreement the software enforces.
  • Collaborations designed and tried on the development environment first.
  • People from a partner signing in with their own organisation’s account.
  • Partners and applicants taking part in a case without a platform of their own, at no cost.

What we build together with you

  • A place where the participants can find reusable roles and agreements.
  • A test case that crosses the boundary and continues on the partner’s side.
  • Chains of organisations that hand roles on.
  • The first commons, with the governance of the shared rules in the hands of its participants.

How a pilot runs

  1. Apply. Describe the network you have in mind, the cases it is about and the first partner.
  2. Meet and select. We look at impact and feasibility, and tell you openly why we start, or why not yet.
  3. Scope. One case, one partner and a goal we can measure.
  4. Design and try. On the development environment, together with the partner.
  5. Go live. Only once both organisations have accepted the collaboration.
  6. Grow. The next partner, and later perhaps the shared specifications.

What we ask, and what it costs

What we ask of you. Someone who leads the network and has the mandate to do so, a process owner for the case, at least one partner organisation that wants to take part, and the willingness to share what works with the other participants.

What it costs. For the first year our consultancy advice is free: our consultants work with you and your partner on the design and the first caseflows. Partners and applicants take part without a platform of their own and at no cost. Running your own platform is a subscription; during the private beta we agree its terms with you before anything is committed.
